There are many online resources dedicated to helping prospective employees prepare a CV (curriculum vitae, or resume) or get ready for an interview. The United Jewish Israel Appeal (UJIA) website, based in the UK, provides a list of interview tips to ensure a great first impression. Their website can be found here. Israemploy and iDonovan provide CV counseling and the ability to post your CV online, with access to thousands of jobs in Israel. Both sites require fees for the use of some of their services.

- Hi, my name is Robbie Sassoon and I am the Director of the English Division at Lander Institute in Israel. My family and I made aliya this past August to Maaleh Adumim. I know right now what it means to be a new oleh. You come to Israel with your resume and professional skills, and then find out the job market here requires something totally different. Through my position at Lander Institute, I am constantly researching all the educational opportunities for English speakers in Israel. This blog will allow me to present all of these options and opportunities to you. I want to help make educational opportunities in English more accessible to the Anglo community here in Israel and give new olim a chance to become more marketable.
