Photoshop – for Photography
This course is intended for Photographers who would like to enrich their Digital Photography skills and learn to use Photoshop CS3, an essential tool for Photographers in today's digital age. Students will learn about resolution, importing files, color adjustments and corrections, layers, merging digital files, modes of curves and levels, masks, retouching and repairing files, photographic digital darkroom tools, special digital effects, filters, channels, creating borders and styles, creating panoramas, automation, and much much more!

Advanced Digital Photography
An intensive digital photography course for beginners and advanced photographers. Topics include an extensive understanding of the technical aspects of the camera and lens, artificial and natural lighting, composition and visual perception, introduction to event and portrait studio photography.

Real Estate License- Marketing & Management
This course is designed with two major objectives. The first is to give the student the tools and abilities to become a marketing agent and professional real estate expert. The second is to prepare the students for the exam of the Ministry of Justice. The Ministry of Justice requires all real estate agents to pass an exam (in Hebrew) that includes a comprehensive knowledge of Israeli real estate laws, as a condition to receiving a real estate agent license. This course will review the key terminologies and structure of the law book that is used during the exam, ensuring students can overcome the language barrier. Sample exams are reviewed and practiced.

Web Design
As the World Wide Web is evolving, there is a high demand for web designers. This course will give the students the professional and essential tools to conceptualize and design a site from start to finished product. Each student will end this course by implementing their own website. The course will be comprised of a basic overview of Photoshop, (graphic tool for websites) Dreamweaver, using an editor to implement your graphics live on the web, and Flash, the interactive animation program for the web.

Interior Design
This course will introduce the student to the basic principles of residential interior design emphasizing drafting skills, design concepts and knowledge of materials. Through a series of design exercises, lectures, and field work, the student will become familiar with a broad overview of what designers do and how they think. The classroom will be set up as a design studio in which the student will draft, draw, and present their ideas, learn from their peers and get critiqued by the instructor and visiting professionals.

Introduction to Computers
This course is designed for individuals with limited or no computer experience. The course offers the opportunity to learn the basic tools of the computer, including word processing, the internet and e-mail. Topics covered include how to organize and save documents and pictures on the computer. The introduction to word processing teaches the tools available to write, edit and format documents. The internet sessions introduces searching the web to find sites of interest and many useful aids. In the e-mail classes, the participants are taught how to send and receive e-mails.

Microsoft Office
Most computer literate people know how to navigate Microsoft Word, but not as many are proficient with the rest of Microsoft Office. Learn the secrets and tools of PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher and enhance your use of Word. Create, edit and use formulas in Excel; learn the fundamentals needed to create and modify basic slide presentations using PowerPoint; create and print lively and interesting publications using Publisher and create, edit and format documents in Word.

NLP(Neuro-Linguistic Programming ) Practitioner Training

Safrut Stam- Scribal Writing
Our course will equip students with the knowledge of all the halachot of writing the form of the letters and the producing of tefillin, mezzuzot and megillot. Students will gain all the halachic mastery needed to pass the exams for a Scribes Certification. Our course will enable students to write superior kosher scribal products starting from preparing the quill, selecting parchment, writing the letters according to all customs, all the way through to planning and preparing your first Megillah. Our course will guide students past the hurdles of entering this stimulating profession and show you the "tricks of the trade" of master scribes. You needn't be an artist or scholar to get started. A little application and practice and you're on your way to a lucrative and satisfying career.

Sculpture
The students in this off-site course will learn some of the fundamental rules governing art, including perspective, proportion, composition, modeling, application, and drawing. At the end of the course students will construct a sculpture using clay that will then be cast into cement using a plaster mold. The finished works will be the property of the students. Within this basic framework the students will also be introduced to some of the other techniques of sculpture i.e. stone-carving, steel and welding, wood construction and more. Students will also be taught to draw in pencil, ink and charcoal.

Mediation
Students will learn all of the pertinent areas to become a professional mediator. The training objectives are: Provision of applicable tools and skills for professional conflict management; understanding mediation and internalizing it as a managerial tool and a way of life; strengthening the awareness to the organizational, social and national implications of mediation in Israel; developing awareness to and endowment of a different point of view to conflicts; and exposing participants to the hidden potentials of mediation and to its transformative facets. This course is taught in cooperation with the Gevim Group who specializes in training and authorizing professional mediators – Leading to a Diploma recognized by the Ministry of Justice.

Advanced Web Applications with Ruby
Ruby is one of the hottest programming languages around today, with a rapidly growing following among Web developers. This course introduces the Ruby language, as well as the Ruby on Rails framework for creating dynamic Web applications. We will begin with Ruby itself, studying its core data types, object-oriented features, regular expression integration, extension libraries ("gems"), and built-in documentation system ("RDoc"). We will then start to build Web applications using Ruby on Rails, beginning with the MVC (model-view-controller) paradigm, and then learning to create all of the components of an effective Rails application -- models, views, controllers, layouts, helpers, and plugins. We will explore many of the innovative and time-saving techniques in Rails, including environments, migrations, layouts, and RESTful resources. The importance of automated code testing will be stressed throughout the course.

Tour Guide License
The tour guide course leading towards becoming a licensed tour guide is taught by the “Derech Eretz” School of Tourism. Derech Eretz teaches all the relevant aspects of Israel Studies while at the same time enriching the spiritual and national bond of the student to Eretz Israel and its Jewish sources and origins. The school’s goal is to train guides who are qualified to guide groups and individuals throughout Israel, while creating a professional, educational and enjoyable atmosphere. A strong emphasis is placed on the Jewish-Israeli experience. The Derech Eretz curriculum corresponds to the criteria established by Israel’s Ministry of Tourism and is authorized by the Ministry to prepare its students for the final certification examinations as official national guides.Our faculty includes some of the leading authorities in the relevant disciplines
